Ultimaker PLA Transparent 2.85 mm is an official Ultimaker PLA filament in a clear, glassy translucent formulation that opens up a range of display and decorative applications not possible with opaque colours. Transparent PLA is ideal for light-diffusing elements, display enclosures, decorative models, architectural scale models with illuminated interiors, and creative prints where the visual depth of a translucent material adds character. Transparency level depends on wall thickness, layer height, and post-processing - thinner walls and finer layers produce clearer results.

Like all PLA filaments, Transparent PLA is easy to print with low warping and no heated bed required. Pre-configured Cura profiles for Ultimaker 2+ and S series are available for consistent results.
