BASF Ultrafuse Support Layer is a specialized support filament designed to work with BASF Ultrafuse metal FFF filaments (such as 316L and 17-4 PH) in a dual-extrusion metal printing workflow. The support material is co-sintered with the metal part but dissolves away cleanly during the debinding and sintering process, leaving complex geometries with undercuts and internal channels free of support residue.

This 1.75mm variant is designed for FDM printers with 1.75mm extrusion paths capable of dual-material metal workflows. The 300g spool is sized for project-level and lower-volume production use. Support Layer eliminates the need for manual support breakaway from green metal parts, which is particularly valuable for complex or delicate geometries.
