The Formlabs Form 4 Build Platform is the OEM replacement build platform for the Form 4 and Form 4B SLA 3D printers. During printing, resin layers are cured and adhere directly to the build platform surface. Over time, the platform surface may show wear, scratches or reduced adhesion, making replacement necessary to maintain consistent first-layer bonding and part quality.

A spare build platform is also a valuable workflow asset: by having a second platform ready, you can remove finished prints, load the spare platform and start the next build immediately without waiting for parts to be removed and the platform to be cleaned. This approach significantly reduces downtime between print jobs in high-throughput production environments.
