The Formlabs Form 3L Resin Tank V3 is the current-generation OEM resin tank for the Form 3L large-format SLA 3D printer. The resin tank holds the liquid photopolymer resin and contains the FEP film through which the LPU (Light Processing Unit) cures each layer. The V3 version offers improved durability and LPU compatibility compared to earlier tank revisions, extending the usable life per tank and improving print consistency.

Regular resin tank replacement is a maintenance requirement for Form 3L operation, as the FEP film degrades over time through mechanical wear, scratching, and chemical exposure. Using a genuine Formlabs V3 tank ensures correct film tension, optical clarity, and compatibility with all Form 3L resin profiles and the PreForm workflow.
