The Formlabs Form 2 Resin Tank LT (Long Term) is the extended-life resin tank for the Formlabs Form 2 SLA 3D printer, designed to deliver significantly more prints before requiring replacement than the standard Form 2 resin tank. The LT tank uses a more durable, optically clear PDMS-free film at the base of the tank that resists wear and clouding over time, maintaining consistent print quality and UV transmission throughout its extended lifespan.

The Form 2 LT tank is compatible with the full range of Formlabs resins supported on the Form 2, and is recommended for facilities running the Form 2 at high throughput, or for those printing resin types that are particularly hard on standard tanks (such as Tough, Durable or Flexible resins). While the LT tank has a higher upfront cost, the reduced replacement frequency makes it more cost-effective over time for high-volume users.
