PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Due to its strength, impact resistance and chemical resistance, polycarbonate is a very attractive material for engineering products. Clariant polycarbonate 3D printer filament is made with a high performance, general purpose and high flow polycarbonate that provides end use parts of excellent quality. A specially formulated Renol® masterbatch is added to improve the processability during 3D printing.

PRINTING PARAMETERS
- Print Temperature = 260-280°C
- Print Speed = 20-40 mm/s
- Bed Adhesion = Dimafix, Magigoo or Ultimaker adhesion sheets
- Bed Temperature = ideally heated up to 110-130°C
- Fan Settings = off to low
Note: parameters are dependent on printer used; Clariant tests were performed on an Ultimaker 3 extended and an Ultimaker S5.
Clariant 3D printer filaments use high quality Clariant additives and pigments, which include:
- Clariant Licolub® WE 4 to improve the flow properties of the polymer and ease extrusion of the 3D printer filament through the printer nozzle
- Clariant Hostanox® P-EPQ to reduce thermo-oxidative
degradation of the polymer and minimize undesired
discoloration (yellowing) during 3D printing
- Clariant Hostanox® O 3 and Hostavin® B-CAP are added to enhance the long term heat stability of the polymer and protect against ultraviolet light (prevents discoloration and preserves mechanical and surface properties like gloss)
- Clariant PV Fast Pigments to provide outstanding heat
resistance, light fastness and bleeding fastness
- Exolit® OP to meet UL94 V-0 flame retardancy standards
