Ultimaker has launched their newest 3D printer, the Ultimaker 2+ Connect.
With the Ultimaker 2+ Connect, Ultimaker has upgraded their best selling machine significantly. The new graphic touch interface has made using the printer even easier! Furthermore, they have equipped the famous single-extruder with network connnectivity. Combined with the Ultimaker Digital Factory, this makes the Ultimaker 2+ Connect a highly reliable option for FDM serial production.
Application engineer Maarten tells about the UM2+C:
“I think that the 2+ Connect is a well-deserved upgradee for the Ultimaker 2+ system. Clearly much thought has been put into making the system more reliable, which can be seen for example in the upgraded print bed construction and the filament feeder. Also, the network connectivity significantly increases the user-friendliness. I think this machine will be especially interesting for serial production of parts, and for eductional applications.”
In collaboration with Kimya filaments we are sharing print samples that have been printed on the Ultimaker 2+ Connect! The parts have been printed in Kimya PLA-R, this recycled material is ideal for projects in which sustainability plays an important role. Interested in a sample?
