Formlabs Tough 1500 Resin V2 is an engineering-grade SLA resin for the Form 4, optimised to deliver a distinctive combination of stiffness and impact resistance. With a tensile modulus of approximately 1500 MPa, it occupies a useful position between the rigidity of standard resins and the flexibility of rubber-like elastomers - making it particularly well-suited for parts that must flex slightly under load without fracturing.

This V2 formulation has been refined for the Form 4's Light Processing Unit, delivering faster cure times and improved consistency compared to earlier versions. Tough 1500 is an established choice for snap-fit assemblies, living hinges, connectors, brackets and functional prototypes that need to withstand repeated mechanical stress. The 1 L cartridge is the standard volume for regular production use on a single Form 4 printer. It is also available in a 5 L container for higher-volume or multi-printer operations.
