Formlabs Silicone 40A Resin is a true silicone material for the Form 3 and Form 3L that enables direct 3D printing of soft, flexible parts with a Shore 40A hardness - the first printable pure silicone material in the desktop SLA category. Parts printed with this resin have the feel, flexibility and biocompatibility characteristic of cast silicone, without the need for molds.

This material opens new design and production possibilities for seals, gaskets, ear tips, soft grips, wearable components, medical prototypes and consumer products that traditionally required silicone molding. The SLA process enables complex geometries, undercuts and fine features that cannot be achieved with conventional silicone molding.
