Formlabs Flexible 80A Resin is a semi-flexible photopolymer resin for the Form 4 with a Shore hardness of 80A. It bridges the gap between rigid engineering resins and soft elastomeric materials, behaving much like a firm rubber or TPU compound that can be compressed, bent and twisted repeatedly without permanent deformation.

This resin is well suited for parts that require controlled compliance: protective grips and ergonomic handles, custom seals and gaskets, overmold simulations around rigid inserts, and shock-absorbing components. The 80A hardness provides enough firmness to hold shape under load while still delivering the cushioning and tactile feel required in user-facing components. For softer, more silicone-like behavior, the Elastic 50A Resin (article 210000005967) is available as a complementary option.
