Formlabs Black Resin V4.1 is a general-purpose photopolymer resin for the Form 3 series, updated to the V4.1 formulation for improved dimensional accuracy and a consistently smooth surface finish. Black is the most versatile color for technical prototyping: the dark pigmentation masks ambient light, minimises light bleed during printing, and gives parts a clean, professional appearance straight off the printer.

The 1 L cartridge is ideal for workshops running varied print jobs with multiple resin types, offering sufficient volume for most prototyping tasks without committing to bulk production quantities. Black Resin V4.1 works across the full Form 3 family and supports Formlabs' open-and-print workflow, with no manual mixing or pre-heating required.
