Ultimaker PC (Polycarbonate) Transparent delivers the full mechanical and thermal performance of polycarbonate with added optical clarity. The 2.85mm native Ultimaker format on a 750g spool, equipped with NFC chip, makes it directly usable on Ultimaker S-series printers with automatic profile loading. Transparent PC occupies a unique position in the engineering filament range: strong, rigid and heat-resistant like standard PC, while also allowing light to pass through for visual or functional optical applications.

This material is ideal for inspection windows in enclosures, light guide components, display panel prototypes, safety visors and any structural part where the designer needs both the mechanical properties of polycarbonate and the ability to see through or into the part. Post-processing with wet sanding can further improve optical clarity where needed.
