Polymaker PolyLite ABS Black is a standard acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) filament at 1.75 mm on a 1 kg spool, formulated by Polymaker for reliable extrusion and consistent print quality. ABS remains one of the most important engineering materials in FDM printing, valued for its higher heat deflection temperature compared to PLA (making it suitable for parts that will see elevated ambient temperatures), strong impact resistance and the ability to be acetone-smoothed to a near-injection-molded surface finish.

PolyLite ABS Black is the practical choice for automotive interior components, electronic enclosures, snap-fit assembly parts, jigs and fixtures, and any application requiring heat resistance above the 50-60 C threshold of standard PLA. Note that ABS requires an enclosed print environment, heated bed and higher ambient temperature to minimize warping - best results are achieved on enclosed printers. Black is the most widely used ABS color for industrial and functional parts.
