Makerpoint PLA Dark Wood (1.75 mm, 750g) is a wood-filled PLA filament that combines the easy printability of standard PLA with the aesthetic of real wood. Fine wood particles are blended into the PLA base, giving printed objects a genuine wood-like surface texture and a warm, dark-brown colour that closely resembles dark hardwood.

The result can be sanded, stained and finished just like real wood, making it popular for decorative objects, architectural models, furniture prototypes and props. No special hotend is required for standard prints, though a 0.4 mm or larger nozzle is recommended to prevent clogging from the wood particles.
