Ultimaker Glue Stick
Description
The Ultimaker Glue Stick is the official build plate adhesion product for Ultimaker 3D printers. Applied directly to the glass build plate surface before printing, it creates a thin adhesion layer that significantly improves first-layer grip for materials that tend to warp or lift, particularly ABS, CPE, Nylon and similar engineering materials with high thermal shrinkage.
The glue washes off cleanly with water after printing, leaving the glass plate ready for the next session. It is a simple, effective and residue-free adhesion solution that is part of the official Ultimaker recommended workflow for engineering materials. A light, even coat applied with a slightly damp finger or cloth is all that is needed before each print session.
Key features
- Official Ultimaker adhesion glue stick for improved first-layer grip on the glass build plate.
- Effective with ABS, CPE, CPE+, Nylon and other engineering materials prone to thermal warping.
- Washes off cleanly with water - no residue or damage to the glass build plate after removal.
- Simple to apply: a thin, even coat before printing is sufficient for reliable adhesion.
- Part of the Ultimaker recommended workflow for printing engineering materials on glass.
