The BuildTak FlexPlate System in 203 x 254 mm is a complete magnetic flexible print surface system designed to make print removal fast, easy and risk-free. The system consists of a magnetic base plate that attaches permanently to the printer's heated bed, and a flexible spring steel build surface (with BuildTak coating) that snaps onto the magnet. Once a print is complete, the flex plate is simply removed from the printer and bent slightly - the print pops off cleanly without any scraping tools, risking damage to the part or the surface.

This 203 x 254 mm format is suited to mid-size FDM printers with build volumes in that range. The BuildTak surface coating provides excellent first-layer adhesion for PLA, ABS, PETG and many other common filament types while on the bed, and releases prints cleanly when flexed off. The spring steel plate returns to flat after flexing, maintaining consistent surface geometry print after print. The magnetic connection also allows the plate to self-align when placed back on the base.
