The BuildTak FlexPlate System offers a two-part magnetic print surface solution for FDM 3D printers with a 203 x 203 mm build plate. The system consists of a magnetic base sheet that attaches permanently to your printer bed, and a flexible spring-steel build plate coated with BuildTak surface material. Once a print is complete, the build plate snaps off the magnetic base and flexes slightly to release the print cleanly, without tools, spatulas, or risk of damage.

This format is compatible with the standard build plate size of popular desktop FDM printers. The FlexPlate system eliminates the frustration of stuck prints and bent spatulas, and allows you to start the next print almost immediately by placing the used plate aside while a replacement is ready. BuildTak surface chemistry provides strong first-layer adhesion for PLA, ABS, PETG and many other common filaments without glue sticks or sprays.
