The Ultimaker Metal Expansion Kit (without voucher) is the hardware and software bundle that transforms a compatible Ultimaker S Series printer into a metal FFF printing system. Working together with BASF Ultrafuse metal filaments, the kit enables production of fully dense 17-4 PH stainless steel parts through the print-debind-sinter workflow, without requiring powder bed fusion equipment.

This variant does not include the sintering voucher (external sintering service credit), making it suitable for teams that have access to their own sintering facilities or prefer to arrange sintering independently. The kit includes the specialized hardware components, software integration, and process documentation needed to run the complete metal FFF workflow on Ultimaker S Series printers.
