The Formlabs Form 4L Build Platform is the large-format build surface for the Form 4L SLA printer. It is the surface to which the first cured layer of every print adheres during the build process, and it plays a critical role in ensuring strong, consistent adhesion, accurate part orientation, and dimensional stability throughout a build - particularly important for the large, complex, and heavy parts that the Form 4L is designed to produce.

Having spare build platforms enables high-throughput workflows where multiple platforms can be cycled through printing, washing, and curing in parallel, maximising the utilisation of the Form 4L. The platform is also replaced as a service item when the adhesion surface shows wear or damage that affects print adhesion reliability. It is a genuine Formlabs OEM part compatible with all Form 4L resins.
